RULES TO RYDE BY
FOR THE JOY OF THE RYDE:
-The energy of our tribe is directly tied to teamwork. While our choreography is optional, your effort and dedication to the team is not. Please be conscious of your fellow riders and do not book a front row bike should you intend to do your own routine during class.
-Please respect your fellow riders. Any rude or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated within the walls of our studio and may result in membership termination or suspension from the studio.
-If deemed unsafe to ryde, instructors have the right to refuse service to those who are injured, Ill, intoxicated, or pregnant.
-Please contact the studio at unionsquare@rydecycling.com or give the studio a call for information on student/military discounts.
-All bookings must adhere to RYDE policies including those booked or purchased through a third party such as ClassPass, FitReserve, Groupon, Gilt, etc.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY RYDE?
Please arrive 15 minutes before class and check in at least 4 minutes before class.
4 minutes before class begins all booked bikes are released to waitlisted riders.

WHAT IF I'M RUNNING LATE FOR MY RYDE?
We have a firm no lateness policy. Please be ready on your bike at the start of class.
If you are running late please give the front desk a call and we will happily save your bike for you.
For the safety and comfort of all of our riders, no admittance is allowed more than 5 minutes after class has begun.
No exceptions will be made.

WHAT IF I HAVE TO LEAVE EARLY?
Please stay for the entire class and stretch -- each part of your RYDE is integral to your experience and progress.
If there is a special circumstance please choose a bike close to the exit and notify your instructor before class begins.

WHERE CAN I STORE MY STUFF DURING MY RYDE?
All shoes and belongings can be placed in a locker or cubby.
Use of cell phones is not permitted inside the bike room. If you are expecting an important call or text please leave your phone with the front desk staff and they will happily come get you if your phone goes off.
Please ensure any wearables are set not to display during class.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY RYDE?
Please wear clean, appropriate clothing for your Ryde.
Cycling shoes are required and are available to rent for $2 per class.

HOW DO I SET UP MY BIKE?
Rhythym staff members and your instructor will be inside the bike room ready to help you get set up on your bike.

HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?
If a class is full, waitlisted riders will be automatically added to the waitlist up to 1 hour before class in the order in which the waitlist request was received.
If less than 1 hour before class a waitlisted rider is called and emailed to notify being added to class. No late adjustment fee will occur if you miss our contact.

CAN I CANCEL OR MOVE MY RYDE RESERVATION?
All reservation cancellations or adjustments must happen within 12 hours of class.
After this time, any cancellation or class modification will result in a late adjustment fee
to all memberships and class packages. ($15 NYC / $12 DC)
Class credit will be returned to your package for use for your next Ryde.
No shows will be charged the full reservation price for the class. ($30 NYC / $24 DC)

CAN I FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP OR EXTEND MY PACKAGE EXPIRATION?
All riders receive ONE complimentary package extension or membership freeze.
After this, there will be a $10 fee for a 30-DAY package extension or membership freeze.
Please note there is a 5 day minimum for all membership freezes.

ARE THERE MEMBERSHIP CONTRACTS?
All memberships have a minimum 60-day term. After this time all memberships can be cancelled or modified with 7 days notice.
Please note, all unlimited memberships are non-transferrable. Sharing of class credits is always permitted.

HOW DO I PAY FOR STUFF? CAN I KEEP MY CARD ON FILE?
RYDE is a proudly cash free business. Any Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card are happily accepted for any purchases.
A credit or debit card on file is required for all Ryders, no exceptions will be made.
Merchandise returns or exchanges must occur within 14 days of purchase with original tags or packaging intact.
All RYDE services, packages, and membership are non-refundable or exchangeable. All sales are final.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO RYDE?
Students under 18 years old must have written permission for a parent or guardian.

WHEN CAN I BOOK MY RYDE?
RYDE’s weekly booking window for classes opens every SUNDAY at 5PM.
